MY SOLO PROJECT: ANNEESOUL
I've been working with many Italian musicians over the years, and I actively participated in the writing and recording process of our albums. Most of the time, I took care of creating melodies and writing down lyrics. In several tracks I also performed as keyboard player.
I deeply enjoy taking part to creative sessions, mostly when it comes to soul, neosoul and RnB Music. My job allows me to get in touch with wonderful musicians and human beings strongly committed to their art. That's what I think of when I sing my music.
My solo project, Anneesoul, emerged from a creative
urge to explore an introspective dimension: my songs are surrounded by the warmth of Soul music and the vibrant atmospheres of Nu-funk. It's all about finding the right lyrics to every groove.
I also enjoy working with talents all over Europe: my songs are produced by Will Eason, English producer and multi-instrumentalist.
When it comes to live performance, I collaborate with many italian musicians: Alberto Lincetto on keyboards (Collettivo Immaginario, Huma Sound), Andy Eynaud on drums (Tananai, Aka/Even, Sonohra, Paolo Meneguzzi), Francesco Alga Zucchi on bass (Whole Tone Trio, Timothy Cavicchini) and Giulio Peretti (Calico) on guitar.
LISTEN TO MY NEW SINGLE!
"Plane to Malibu" has been released on August 30th: a soulful and nostalgic tune with a strong R&B flavour. The song is now available on Spotify and all digital streaming platforms.
The recording process took place in different studios between Italy and United Kingdom,
including Sotto il Mare Studios (Verona), owned by Luca Tacconi. The recording was carried out with the expertise of Edoardo Carli, sound engineer.

My original music journey dates back to 2020 and originally started with Stereonoon, my neosoul original project. With it I was able, together with my colleagues, to publish two albums: "Yeah. and Stuff" and "Places we can go hide". The first one contains a featuring track with Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy), while in the second one you can listen to Xantoné Blacq's keys (Amy Winehouse) and Emiliano Vernizzi's tenor saxophone.
Another project I took part in was Blackbag Bulgarelli, an italian bluesman who released his first rock album, "Deep 'n' Dark" in 2021 on all digital platforms. In most of the songs I worked on the lyrics and lead melody writing and I performed on keys.
